Getting started
Where is your showroom?
Our showroom is at 731 N Columbia Center Blvd #116, Kennewick, WA 99336, inside the Colortile of Kennewick showroom. Colortile is a separate business that shares the space.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday 10am to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 2pm. We are closed on Sunday.
What areas do you serve?
Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland and the surrounding Tri-Cities area.
How do I get an estimate?
Call (509) 735-7618, send a request through our contact page, or stop by the showroom. Tell us about the room and what you want to change, and we will set up a time to look at it.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on the material you choose, the size of the job and what has to come out first. We give you a price after we see the space and you have picked materials, so call or request an estimate to get a real number.
Countertops
Do you make the countertops yourselves?
Yes. We cut, edge and polish granite and quartz slabs in our own shop, then our crew installs them. The work is not sent out to a third party.
Which slab brands do you carry?
We carry MSI, Pental Quartz, Sequel Quartz, Teltos and MGX. You can see samples in the showroom.
Should I choose granite or quartz?
Both make durable countertops. Granite is natural stone, so every slab is one of a kind. Quartz is engineered, so the color and pattern are more consistent. Our granite vs. quartz guide covers the differences in more detail.
Do you do bathroom vanities, fireplaces and outdoor counters too?
Yes. Along with kitchens we make vanity tops, fireplace hearths and surrounds, and barbecue counters in granite and quartz.
Will I be able to see the seams?
We plan seam locations around your layout and the slab pattern so they land where they are least visible. Seams that disappear are one of the things we are known for.
Showers & tile
What is a mud-set shower pan?
It is a shower base made from mortar that is floated by hand and sloped to the drain. Because it is built in place, it can fit any shower shape or size.
Can you build a curbless or walk-in shower?
Yes. We build curbless pans for barrier-free showers, and pans sloped to a linear drain.
What kinds of tile do you install?
Porcelain, ceramic, glass, natural stone and marble, on floors, shower walls, backsplashes, fireplaces and tubs.
Flooring & carpet
What flooring do you install?
Luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile and carpet, including stairs.
Will you install flooring I bought somewhere else?
Yes. We install flooring products from local vendors, not just what we stock.
Do you install carpet for new construction?
Yes. We install carpet for remodels and for new construction. Builders can see our builders page for details.
Planning tools
Can I see what a countertop or tile will look like before I choose?
Yes. Use our kitchen and bathroom visualizers, or upload a photo of your room to preview flooring and tile. Then come see the real samples in the showroom.
Are Superior Granite and Colortile the same company?
No. They are separate, locally owned businesses that share a showroom in Kennewick.
